The shortcut we took to get to our friend’s house, the place where we hung out with friends during breaks for alpine ski lesson, tree runs we found to get home fast after alpine skiing practice. Shigakogen is the place where we were born and raised as well as a playground where we learned nature. Through this tour, we want to pass on the knowledge and values that we have naturally acquired and learned since childhood.

Since officially approved as Japan’s first international ski resort in 1935, Shigakogen has gradually expanded its area and today it became Japan’s largest ski resort. Renowned for its feather-light powder snow and convenient location that’s only 3 hours drive from Tokyo, Shigakogen is an idyllic place for winter sports enthusiast to indulge their passion for dry snow. Most of ski areas of Shigakogen has an average of 2000m elevation and it enables the snow to keep in a stable condition throughout the season.
